CalTasks
CalTasks is arguably the easiest way to create a task/event into your Google Calendar. It is an easy to use iPhone app that helps you quickly add a event to your Google Calendar. You can add a event by using a real life natural language sentence and Google automatically parses your input and creates your event.
You can create a event directly in Google Calendar by just enteri
ng one textbox full of information. If you are a addict of Google’s quick add feature, then this app is for you.
Since, CalTasks uses the same parser used by Google’s “Quick Add” feature shown below, you will feel at ease with the syntax you already know.
Some sample events that can be created using CalTasks are,
Dinner with Girlfriend from 7pm at Northpoint.
or
Meeting with Graham at office tomorrow from 9am to 11am
Prerequisites
For alerts to happen, your Google Calendar must be synced with your iPhone. You can also set Google to send you a SMS notifications instead. For more info, read this article.
CalTasks doesn’t do any notifications. I might consider adding this feature in a subsequent release if requested. For help with syncing, read this article.

What CalTasks is not?
CalTasks is not a task manager. Most users don’t need a sophisticated “Task Manager” as we prefer jotting down tasks either on paper or software like Evernote or SimpleNote. CalTasks takes it one step further and adds that task automatically to Google Calendar so that you will be notified when you have to do that task.
